It follows the observation that bookings rarely happen at a desk: the office day is planned on the sofa in the evening, the parking space booked on the way to the car, the room agreed in a Teams chat. Every missing channel shifts effort to reception or creates unbooked usage – and therefore inaccurate occupancy data."
