# Requirements that differ by industry

> Door James functionality is identical across industries; what differs are requirements for evidence, contract frameworks and priorities. In the public sector German data residency and EVB-IT dominate, in financial services retention periods and documented access, in consulting and IT the high mobility of the workforce.

The modules are the same. What differs are evidence requirements, contract frameworks and which module is needed first.

## Industry pages, not industry versions

Door James is a standard product – there is no industry edition and no fork. What differs is the order of questions: in the public sector the review starts with the contract framework and data residency, in financial services with retention periods and documented access, in consulting firms with usage across many locations.
