Integrations
For organizations where Teams is the central tool, Door James sits where work already happens.
In short
The Door James app for Microsoft Teams is deployed as a package in your tenant, uses the Microsoft identity for sign-in and makes bookings possible directly inside Teams. Check-in reminders and emergency alerts arrive in the personal Teams activity feed when a push notification cannot be delivered.

Anyone signed in to Teams is signed in to Door James.
Desks and rooms are booked without switching applications.
Check-in reminders and emergency alerts reach the personal Teams activity feed. Teams is the fallback channel when no push notification can be delivered to a device.
The Teams integration solves one concrete problem: switching applications. In organizations where Teams is open all day, booking discipline drops measurably if a second interface is required – and with booking discipline, the quality of occupancy data drops too.
At the same time the Teams app is not a replacement for the full application. It covers the frequent, quick actions. Everything involving floor plans, maps, on-site check-in or administration stays in the web or mobile app and in the Admin Panel.
As an app package for your Microsoft tenant, deployed through the Teams admin center and released to groups.
No. It is deliberately focused on frequent actions. Administration stays in the Admin Panel, and check-in by QR or geofence stays with the mobile apps.
It is a stable part of the product but not currently a development focus. We therefore do not commit to feature extensions that are not on the roadmap.
Which tenant, which directory, which calendars, which identity provider. Thirty minutes is enough to say whether it fits – and where it will not.
