From the registration form to the session rating: Door James runs corporate events in the same app people use to book a desk.
In short
Door James event management covers the whole flow: create events, invite attendees or import them by CSV, configure registration forms and capacities, plan sessions and booths, generate badges and check people in by QR code at the door. Attendees see their agenda in the app, ask speakers questions and carry their badge in Apple Wallet.
Events are created in the Admin Panel; attendees arrive by invitation or CSV import.
Custom questions, capacity limits, dietary requirements and public or private sessions.
A programme with times, speaker profiles, capacity and optional per-session registration.
Booths are managed and evaluated – including participation per booth.
A personal QR badge, printable or digital; available on iPhone and Apple Watch as a Wallet pass.
The scan at the entrance confirms attendance in real time and unlocks event content in the app.
Attendees ask speakers questions and rate sessions; feedback is available for evaluation immediately.
Attendee lists, session and booth participation can be exported.
Corporate events rarely fail on the programme; they fail at the handovers. Who is allowed on site? Where is the room? Who registered for which session? If the event tool, visitor management and room booking are three separate systems, those gaps are inevitable.
In Door James, events, visitors and resources share one foundation. An event reserves rooms, creates badges, notifies hosts and appears in the same agenda as a desk booking. On the app dashboard, running events appear as a card with a countdown; on iOS additionally as a Live Activity on the lock screen.
Attendance data, session ratings and Q&A questions are available in a structured form afterwards. That lets you plan the next event rather than reinvent it – and answer the question about the impact of an internal event with numbers rather than impressions.
No. It is part of the Door James subscription and is activated per organization when needed.
Yes. External attendees are invited or imported and receive their badge by email; visitor management can be combined for building access.
The Wallet pass shows the badge QR code without a connection, including on Apple Watch. Confirming the check-in itself happens online at the entrance.
The platform is designed for corporate events. For very large events we agree capacity and process in advance.
